We use the Data Structuring System (RDE is the application name for Data Structuring System) to collect, accumulate, and share material data generated through equipment sharing in a structured format that is easy for third parties to utilize.

Regarding Data Utilization:

• Since December 2023, we have started the trial operation of providing datasets. 
• The overview of the datasets can be searched and viewed by anyone on the "ARIM Data Portal Site (Japanese site)". 
• To download or utilize the data, user membership registration and agreement to the terms and conditions are required.For details, please refer to the "Application and User Guide (Japanese site)" page. 
• Usage fees (license fees) are scheduled to be set from the fiscal year 2025, and trial dataset usage until the fiscal year 2024 is free of charge.

Regarding Datasets Provision:

• Among the data generated from shared facility, those for which user consent has been obtained are collected and stored in a common data format. 
• Examples of datasets include analysis, observation, and measurement results of materials, as well as processing processes and conditions using microfabrication technology. 
• Dataset has a maximum confidentiality period of 2 years starting from the fiscal year following dataset registration. 
• The confidentiality period can be extended by one year for special reasons such as pending publication. 
• You can use the facility without registering data, but in that case, the facility usage fee will be increased.
• The accumulated dataset is licensed only to registered data user members.
