Creation of the User's Reports

• The User's Report is not a research paper but a report concerning the use of shared facilities provided by the ARIM Support Implementing Institutes. 
• The purpose is to disclose the details of experiments, measurements, analyses, prototyping, etc., carried out using the facilities of the ARIM Support Implementing Institutes, along with the results obtained. As much as possible, please include any research outcomes achieved through these activities. 
• Examples of previously submitted User's Reports can be viewed through the User's Reports search on our website.
• The User's Reports can be entered and submitted via the submission web system. 
• All information entered into the User's Reports system may be shared and reused among the institutes participating in ARIM.
• The postponement system only delays the disclosure, so the official report must be prepared and submitted in the prescribed format to the support implementing institute within the fiscal year. 
• After the postponement period (up to two years) ends, you will need to submit the official report. At that time, please add any achievements such as patent applications, conference presentations, or paper publications resulting from the postponement.

Disclosure of the User's Reports

• Unless otherwise specifically noted that the information entered in the User's Reports will not be disclosed, it will be made publicly available on this website and other web pages after an appropriate period, including names and affiliations. 
• This information can be viewed and downloaded without restriction. It is not necessary to include more personal or sensitive information than required.
• The principle is to submit the User's Reports for the project within the fiscal year and to disclose it in the following fiscal year. 
• If there are special reasons, such as "planned patent application" or "planned conference/paper presentation," the disclosure can be postponed for up to two years.
• As of July 2024, more than 4,600 User's Reports are registered on this site. You can search by implementing institute, fiscal year, cross-sectional technical field, key technology domains, equipment ID, or free word, and view the report content and download the PDF version.
