About This Project

What is the ARIM JAPAN Project?

Inheriting the concept of the Nanotechnology Platform, we provide state-of-the-art measurement, analysis, and processing facility, as well as the associated technologies and know-how, possessed by universities and research institutes across the country, to researchers and developers in all sectors—industry, academia, and government. In addition to sharing equipment, we are also working on providing new services related to the utilization of data.

Nanotechnology and Material Research Infrastructure Sharing Projects: 20 Years of Development

Under the concept of the "Material DX Platform," the data generated by the Advanced Research Infrastructure for Materials and Nanotechnology in Japan will be integrated with the "Materials Data Platform (MDPF)" established by the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) and the "Data generation and utilization materials research and development project (DxMT)." This initiative aims to strengthen material innovation capacity.
